Returns & Exchanges

Overview

At LaceBelle London, we want you to feel completely confident when shopping with us. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a generous 30-day return window from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be:

  • Unworn and in original condition
  • Unwashed and free from marks, perfume, or deodorant
  • Returned with all original tags attached (including the hygiene seal where applicable)
  • Returned in their original packaging where possible

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this returns policy. If your item is faulty or not as described, additional rights apply — please see the Faulty Items section below.

How to Return

Returning an item is straightforward. Simply follow these five steps:

  1. Contact us to initiate your return
    Email hello@lacebellelondon.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and your reason for returning. This helps us improve and serves as confirmation of your return request.
  2. Receive your prepaid returns label (UK customers)
    UK customers will receive a prepaid Royal Mail returns label via email within 1 business day. Simply print the label — no purchase necessary on your part.
  3. Pack your items securely
    Place items in their original packaging if possible, or use any secure, appropriate outer packaging. Ensure all original tags are still attached. Include a note with your order number inside the parcel.
  4. Drop off at your nearest Post Office or collection point
    Take your labelled parcel to any Royal Mail Post Office branch or approved drop-off point. Retain your proof of postage receipt — we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit without proof of posting.
  5. Your refund is processed
    Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 2–3 business days of receipt), your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.

Items Eligible for Return

The following items are eligible for return or exchange, provided they meet the conditions set out in our Overview section above:

  • Bras (underwired, non-wired, balcony, push-up, plunge styles)
  • Bralettes and soft bras
  • Suspender belts and garter belts
  • Robes, kimonos, and loungewear
  • Nightgowns and chemises
  • Bodysuits (with hygiene seal intact and unopened)
  • Matching lingerie sets (returned as a complete set)
  • Accessories (stockings, suspenders) in original sealed packaging

Important: Items must be returned in a resaleable condition. Any items returned that appear worn, washed, or damaged (beyond a reasonable inspection) will not be eligible for a refund and will be returned to you at your cost.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons and the comfort of all our customers, the following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances, unless they are faulty:

  • Knickers, thongs, and all brief-style panties — for hygiene reasons, these cannot be returned once removed from their original sealed packaging, regardless of whether they have been tried on
  • Sale items — items purchased in a sale or at a promotional discount are eligible for exchange only (size exchange or store credit); refunds are not available on sale items
  • Custom and personalised orders — items made to order, monogrammed, or otherwise personalised cannot be returned unless they are faulty
  • Gift wrapping and packaging add-ons — gift wrapping services are non-refundable once dispatched
  • Digital gift cards — once issued, gift cards cannot be refunded but are transferable

Exchanges

We offer free size exchanges for all eligible items, subject to stock availability. If the size you require is not currently in stock, we will offer you a store credit note valid for 12 months or a full refund.

To request an exchange:

  • Follow the same returns initiation process — email us with your order number and state which size or alternative you would like
  • Once we receive and inspect your return, your exchange item will be dispatched within 2 business days
  • Exchange delivery within the UK is free of charge
  • International exchange shipping charges apply (see International Returns below)

Style exchanges (swapping for a different style or colour, rather than just a size) are also available and treated the same as a standard return followed by a new purchase. The item must be returned first and a new order placed.

Faulty Items

We carry out thorough quality checks on every order before dispatch, but on rare occasions items may arrive with a manufacturing defect. If your item is faulty, we sincerely apologise and will make it right.

Please contact us at hello@lacebellelondon.com within 14 days of receiving your order to report a fault. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the fault
  • Photographs showing the defect

We will offer you one of the following remedies at no additional charge to you:

  • Full refund to your original payment method
  • Replacement item dispatched free of charge (subject to availability)
  • Store credit if preferred

You will not be required to return a faulty item in all cases. For lower-value items, we may ask you to keep or dispose of the item at our request to avoid additional environmental impact of unnecessary shipping.

Refunds

Refunds are processed promptly upon receipt and inspection of your returned item(s). Here is what you need to know:

Refund Method

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We are unable to issue refunds to a different card or account.

Klarna Klarna will be notified within 24 hours; your Klarna account and payment schedule will be updated accordingly. Pending charges will be cancelled; completed charges refunded within 5–10 business days.

Store Credit / Gift Card Credit reinstated within 1 business day of return receipt

Gift Purchases

If you received an item as a gift and wish to return it, we can issue a store credit note to the value of the item, valid for 12 months. Store credit can be used on any future LaceBelle London purchase online or in-store. We are unable to refund gift purchases back to the original purchaser's payment method without their consent.

Partial Refunds

If only part of your order is returned, you will receive a partial refund for the returned items. Original shipping charges are refunded only if the entire order is returned.

Please note: We reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to £2.00 for items that are returned in unsatisfactory condition but do not meet the threshold for outright rejection. You will always be informed before any deduction is made.

International Returns

We welcome returns from international customers and want to make the process as easy as possible, though please be aware of the following differences for orders placed outside the United Kingdom:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not provide prepaid return labels for international orders.
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as LaceBelle London cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.
  • Refunds for international orders will exclude the original outbound shipping cost.
  • Any customs duties or import taxes paid by us on the return parcel will be deducted from your refund.
  • Please mark the outside of your parcel clearly as "RETURNED GOODS — UK ORIGIN" to avoid re-importation charges.

International exchange shipping will be charged at our standard international rates. We will contact you with a shipping cost before dispatching an exchange.

Tip: International customers may find it more cost-effective to opt for store credit rather than a return, to avoid return shipping costs. Store credit is valid for 12 months and can be used on any future order.

Always include your order number inside the parcel so we can process your return quickly. Returns received without an order number may experience delays of up to 10 business days while we identify the sender.
